Dr Khadizah binti Hj Abdul Mumin

Dr. Khadizah Haji Abdul Mumin (Khadizah H. Abdul-Mumin), is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah (PAPRSB) Institute of Health Sciences, and also appointed as a Research Associate at the Centre of Advanced Research (CARe), Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), overseeing the Older Persons Research portfolio since 2016. She attained the Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom and was awarded the Brunei-United States English Language Programme (Brunei-US ELEP) for Academic Exchange to complete a one-year post-doctorate as an international visiting scholar at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Most recently, she received the prestigious Australia Awards Fellowship titled “Nursing and Midwifery Advanced Research Skills Development Program (Indonesia and Brunei)” by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia, which is hosted by the School of Nursing and Midwifery at La Trobe University, Australia (September 4 to September 24, 2023). She is also awarded the NUS Fellows Programme (Southeast Asia) Centre of Ageing Research and Education (CARE), Duke-NUS Medical School National University of Singapore for six months commencing next year March 2024.

Dr Hj Muhammad Assyafie Hanif bin Abdul Rahman @ Chung Thien Siong

Dr Hanif Abdul Rahman is an Assistant Professor at PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences and a Research Associate at the Centre of Advanced Research, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. His expertise includes Biostatistics, Structural Equation Modeling, Machine learning, and Predictive analytics. He recently completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan where he developed a novel deep-learning approach for detecting brain tumors using MRI scans in young and older people. He has also developed machine-learning prediction models to classify the mental well-being of university students and young adults in South-East Asia. Over the past 5 years, he has published more than 60 research papers in Tier 1 and 2 journals, reflecting his career ambition to provide multi-dimensional evidence to address issues related to the health and quality-of-life of young and older adult populations. 

Dr Siti Fatimahwati Pehin Dato Hj Musa

Dr Siti Fatimahwati Pehin Dato Musa is an Assistant Professor at the UBD School of Business and Economics, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBDSBE). She holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development from Newcastle University, United Kingdom. Her area of specialisation is in Development Economics, focusing on sustainable development, food security and issues of poverty and youth unemployment. Most of the research that she conducts is interdisciplinary, allowing her to work with experts across various disciplines. She is a recipient of several University grants. She has published in international journals like the British Food Journal, Tourism Review, and the International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy. She welcomes research collaboration in food security, issues on youth and agriculture, youth unemployment, agritourism, social welfare, and poverty in rentier economies. 


Dr Siti Rohaiza Binti Ahmad

Dr. Siti Rohaiza Ahmad, an Assistant Professor at the PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences, UBD, brings over 17 years of dedicated service to the academic realm. Commencing her journey as a Lecturer in 2007, Dr. Ahmad has evolved into a pro-active academic committed to leveraging digital technology for enhanced teaching methodologies. Her academic journey is adorned with academic excellence, holding a PhD from UQ, a Master’s in Biotechnology from UOW, and a BSc. (Hons) in Nutrition from Notts.

Driven by a passion for food and nutrition, Dr. Ahmad is an impactful researcher with a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and multi-tasking. Dr Siti has been appointed as a Programme Leader for Graduate Studies at IHS since 2021. Additionally, she serves as the Faculty Representative for Entrepreneurship Development (FREDIES) and as a CARE Research Associate and a member of the NNEDPRO Steering Committee.
