The Centre for Advanced Research (CARe) organised the Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for the 3rd National Health and Nutritional Status Survey (NHANSS3) – Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) component training. This collaborative NHANSS3 project between the CARe, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and the Health Promotion Centre (HPC), Ministry of Health (MOH), marks a significant step towards enhancing health research in our community.
The objective of this closing ceremony is to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our research assistants, who are now equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical training needed for the upcoming fieldwork for the NHANSS3 – MICS component, which is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2023 and conclude on 28th February 2024.
We celebrate the successful completion of the MICS training that took place from 6 November to 29 November 2023. 52 Research Assistants and 29 facilitators from the Centre for Advanced Research (CARe), Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences (PAPRSB, IHS), Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Health Promotion Centre (HPC), and invited speakers from government agencies were involved in this training.
Special thanks to our UBD research team and officers from the MOH, who received valuable training from UNICEF experts, paving the way for this comprehensive and impactful program. Let’s continue working together to advance health research and positively impact our community’s well-being.
