The workshop presented step-by-step procedures for conducting community needs assessment for older people, setting priorities, mapping geographical areas where specific needs are required, and implementing community-initiated activities for healthy active ageing. Community diagnosis success stories were shared from the Japan Gerontological Evaluation Study (JAGES).
